Aromatherapy Soaps**
Skinergy:
A synergistic
blend of pure essential oils of Lavender, Tea Tree, and Eucalyptus. These essential oils are reputed to be the three most
powerful anti-fungal, antiseptic, antibacterial, and anit-viral oils in the world of aromatherapy. We have seen dramatic results
with all types of problem skin. This includes acne, psoriasis, seborrhea, dermatitis, dry patchy skin, athletes foot, heat
rashes, in short all types of problem skin. Our most dramatic results are for acne. This is because we have seen results within
a very few days. We suggest for acne sufferers, wash the face(or afflicted areas) once in the morning and once in the evening,
rinse well, and don't put anything else on your face(especially make-up). Skinergy is undoubtably the best soap for you skin.
Lavender~Oatmeal: We
use pure lavender essential oil in our Lavender~Oatmeal soap. Lavender essential oil is reputed to have many beneficial effects
both for the mind and body. For the mind, Lavender essential oil is considered to be the great balancing oil. It is known
to relax us when we are tense or stressed. It is widely prescribed in Europe for both anxiety and depression. For the body,
Lavender essential oil is considered to have 3 beneficial qualities. 1. Balancing of oil production: if your skin is dry you
should produce more oil, if you skin is oily you will produce less oil. 2, skin cell regeneration, as we mature our skin cells
slow down in their ability to regenerate. Lavender essential oil is reputed to stimulate skin cell regeneration. 3. Calmig
and soothing to minor irritations. Lavender essential oil is considered to be calming and smoothing to minor irritations such
as, sunburn, windburn and minor cuts and abbrasions. Therefore, we recomend our Lavender Oatmeal as a shaving soap. The oatmeal
is added as a gentle exfoilator to help deep cleanse the pores.
Citrus Burst:
We
blend essential oils tangerine, lemon, lime, and bergamot in our Citrus Burst soap. Citrus oils are considered to be uplifting
and awakening. This is one of our favorite soaps. Citrus oils also have long been reputed to be a very good astrigent. This
means they are deep cleansers. For people that have problems with clogging of their pores we recommend our Citrus Burst soap.
Patchouli Passion:
For
thousands of years Patchouli essential oil has been reputed to be an aphrodisiac. This is probably because it is considered
a balancing oil much like Lavender. Patchouli essential oil has long been used in the skin care products to treat dry, old,
or wrinkled skin. Patchouli essential oil was very popular in the 60's & early 70's with the 'Hippy/Peace & Love'
movement. It was used as a perfume and in incense. Patchouli essential oil is unique in the fact that people either hate it
or love it. All you Patchouli fans will truly love our Patchouli Passion.
Peppermint: Peppermint
essential oil is considered to be invigorating and awakening. This is because it has a high menthol content. Menthol opens
sinus and bronchial passages, calms the mind, and increases blood flow when applied to the skin. It is also considered to
have strong anitseptic qualities. The peppermint essential oil in our soap leaves your skin feeling cool and tiongly after
showering. We have had people remark that our peppermint soap really tingles certain parts of their body.
FAQ(Frequently Asked Questions)
Q: What are the little shapes in the soap made
of?
A: The shapes are molded out of soap, with only FDA approved coloring added to them.
Q: What is the difference
between aromatherapy soaps and fragrance soaps?
A: Aromatherapy is a soap that is made with essential oils from plants
and fragrance soaps are made with fragrance oil.
Q: How long does a slice of soap usually last?
A: One slice of
soap used by one person, should last you about 3 weeks. The soap has to be kept in a soap dish that drains. It cannot be kept
in a puddle of water because it will 'melt' away. Our soaps work best with a natural sponge or a 'poof/puff' lather builder.
Q: Why is vegetable glycerine soap better than glycerine soap without vegetable glycerine?
A: Vegetable glycerine
is a natural humectant that attracts moisture to the skin. Many of our customers have told us that after using our soap for
a couple of weeks, they stopped using their moisturizing lotion after bathing.
